Utah’s Noelia Voigt Crowned Miss USA 2023
Noelia Voigt of Utah was crowned Miss USA 2023 on Friday night at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. She is the first Venezuelan-American to win the pageant.
Voigt, 23, beat out 50 other state titleholders at the pageant. She was crowned by Morgan Romano, who took over the Miss USA 2022 title after R'Bonney Gabriel won Miss Universe.
Voigt is a licensed esthetician and a certified lash technician. She is also a student of interior design. She is passionate about empowering women and advocating for diversity and inclusion.
In the final Q&A round of the pageant, Voigt was asked what she would contribute to the Miss Universe Organization as a “brand ambassador” and Miss USA. She responded, "I am a bilingual Venezuelan-American, and I would use my platform to connect with diverse communities across the United States. I am also passionate about empowering women and advocating for diversity and inclusion."
Voigt's victory was celebrated by many, including Venezuelan-Americans who were proud to see her represent their culture on the national stage. She is an inspiration to women and girls everywhere, and we look forward to seeing all that she accomplishes as Miss USA 2023
