Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) out vs. Ravens

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland Browns will be without their starting quarterback, Deshaun Watson, on Sunday when they host the Baltimore Ravens. Watson is out with a right shoulder injury, which he suffered last week against the Tennessee Titans.

Watson was listed as questionable for the game, but he was ultimately ruled inactive after trying to warm up during pregame. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start in place of Watson.

The Browns' offense struggled without Watson in the lineup, scoring just three points in a 28-3 loss to the Ravens. Thompson-Robinson completed 19 of 36 passes for 121 yards and threw three interceptions.

Watson's shoulder injury is not considered to be serious, and Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said he expects Watson to return for the team's next game in two weeks against the San Francisco 49ers.

Watson's absence is a big blow to the Browns, who are trying to make a playoff push in the AFC North. The Browns are currently 2-3 and sit in third place in the division.

Without Watson, the Browns will need to rely on their running game and defense to win games. The Browns have a strong running game led by Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. The Browns' defense has also been playing well, ranking seventh in the NFL in points allowed.

The Browns will also need Thompson-Robinson to step up and play well in Watson's absence. Thompson-Robinson is an undrafted rookie, but he showed some promise in his first start against the Ravens.

The Browns will take on the Ravens again in Week 17, and that game could be a winner-take-all matchup for the AFC North division title. Watson's return for that game would be a huge boost for the Browns
